Artefill

Artefill is a dermal filler product administered in office for the correction of fine lines (nasolabial or smile lines) and wrinkles.  It’s made of microspheres that are not absorbed by the body.

How Does Artefill Work?

Artefill is provided in a collagen based gel.  The collagen portion of the product is the part that fills in wrinkles, providing an immediate result.  Over time the body absorbs the collagen but not the microspheres within Artefill.  The micorspheres are responsible for ongoing support of the treated area, providing long lasting results.

What Makes Artefill Different Than Other Dermal Fillers?

It’s this unique collagen and microsphere combination that provides both an immediate result along with long lasting support.  So the primary difference is in the length of time that you will see the results last with Artefill.

Is Artefill Safe?

Yes.  Artefill was cleared by the U.S. FDA in 2007 and has an extremely good track record and minor side effect profile.  A skin test is required prior to treatment to ensure there are no allergies to the product.
