DR. WILLIAM HEIMER: One of the most exciting new products that we have is a product called ArteFill. It's made of material, technical, but this is the name, called polymethylmethacrylate, and this material has actually been around for a long time, but it's been refined really extensively over the last ten years or so. We finally have an FDA approved product which is proven to be very safe and the five year data from longevity is out and it's considered to be a permanent filler. So the importance of this, from the patient's standpoint, is once you get to total correction, you can anticipate and enjoy that correction forever, and then you can spend your energy and efforts doing other more fun things instead of doing repeat filling every 6 to 12 months. And that's what we've found a lot of our patients are excited about.

One of the really neat things about using ArteFill is that patients find that the pain of injection is really almost nothing, and they walk in and they walk out. And we do it gradually over time so the correction is very subtle and people around them really hardly ever know that anything is being done. And a very dramatic change can be effected with very little effort and the nice thing is that it's permanent.
