DR. WILLIAM HEIMER: Botox Cosmetic is what I call Vitamin B, because I think everybody needs Botox in reality. If they're trying to effect some sort of cosmetic change, it's the most simple, easy-to-do procedure with the most dramatic before and after pictures. It's a kind of dramatic change that people might not see from across the room, but the people that you see that you're intimate with, that you're close, you're in their space, those people see those changes. The ability make a frown and scowl at someone, which a lot of people do inadvertently, they don't mean to, but they look angry or mean, and with a very simple treatment, can put all that to rest for two and a half to three months, and people absolutely love that. And it's one of my most favorite things to do, because it really does change a person's life when they're perceived as being angry or mean or upset, and now they're calm and relaxed. It's pretty exciting.

The other areas that we use Botox and we have great results are around the eyes and under the eyes. One of the benefits of doing Botox with us is that, as a national Botox trainer, I'm privy to a lot of really good, insightful information and newer techniques and advances in using Botox, and one of the areas we really enjoy using it is under the eyes to improve fine lines and wrinkles there. The traditional area of making the smile lines a little bit less noticeable, especially in men women when they encroach down on the lateral face, really takes years off of the face. It's a very safe procedure to do and one that is probably, I would say, the most common procedure that people come back to repeat again and again and again, because they like it so much. There are other areas that we use Botox, around the lips in select cases. We also use Botox to prevent sweating in the axillary area and on the hands and feet for people that have hyperhydrosis. So many uses for Botox and we're seeing great results with it.
