GentleWaves®
The centerpiece of the GentleWaves® system of skin rejuvenation is the LED Photomodulation® device. This machine uses over 2,000 low-powered light-emitting diodes (LEDs) to treat fine lines, wrinkles, and skin that has been prematurely aged by the sun. Unlike other laser and pulsed light skin treatments, GentleWaves® does not use heat to accomplish its rejuvenation, so there is no burning, reddening, or peeling involved. The procedure is quick and utterly painless.
GentleWaves® is a fully-integrated skin enhancement system, and includes a complete regimen of skin care products, specially formulated to bolster and maintain the effects of the LED Photomodulation® treatments. Many patients opt for a full GentleWaves® Euro Treatment, which supplements the effects of the GentleWaves® LED Photomodulation® device with an exfoliation procedure such as a chemical peel, an enzymatic masque, or microdermabrasion.
